This Galicha Kantha, or Carpet Kantha, comes from Bangladesh and is made using layers of repurposed cotton embroidered with vivid cross-stitch embroidery in intricate geometric patterns. 

They can serve as a light floor covering, a general home accessory—folded across the back of a sofa, as a bold wall hanging, or as upholstery for a headboard or a chair.
